Bell Solitaire

Bell Solitaire

Bell Solitaire is an interesting solitaire game where the player moves cards from the lowest piles in a column, and can move them to the foundation, or to another pile building the piles down, and building the foundations up by suit. In a traditional game of Bell Solitaire, the player must switch between moving cards from the left side and moving cards from the right side of play. You can turn this alternating feature off in the options menu. You can get to the options menu by clicking on the gear icon in the bottom right of the game screen. Also, the player may only build up the foundations on the right, or on the left side of play. In this version, cards the player may not move are dimmed, and foundations the player may not move cards to are dimmed.

Quick Tips

Bell Solitaire is a really hard game to win. If you're new to Bell, you probably want to start out by turning off the alternating feature in the options menu (click the gear on the bottom right). When you're moving cards to different piles, make sure you don't put two cards of a higher value than a pile above them and in the same suit. By that I mean, if you have a 2 of Spades in a pile above a Jack of Spades, if you can at all avoid it, don't place a 10 of Spades on the Jack of Spades because you will not be able to remove those cards to the foundations until the 2 of spades is moved to the foundation.
